As women we can hold a lot, caring deeply as we support and nurture others. At times we can give so much we feel depleted, exhausted and burned out.

We may no longer sense the connection to ourselves, forget our passions and purpose, stray far from our path and feel lost.
We can wonder who we are and how we got here.

Or

We may have chosen to forget or pack away our own dreams whilst tending to everyone else’s. It can be many years before we are finished caring for others (if ever) and perhaps we now wonder where the packed up suitcase is and if or how we can ever unpack it.

I’ve been there too and it was the horses who invited me to remember, showing me the way and guiding me home.

Horses don’t ask us to ‘do’ more, they ask us to be more - present, in our bodies and in ourselves. They are a vessel / conduit to our souls.

I believe inside each of us dwells a Goddess who longs to be remembered.

She knows us intimately and wants to reconnect. She remembers who we really are and knows our true calling. She wants us to feel our freedom and passion buried within. She whispers and sometimes tugs us and if we can only get quiet enough we may hear her.

Horses see this part of us and generously share their wisdom, reconnecting us to the essence of ourselves and showing us the way. Honest intuitive and without judgement, they reflect the truth of who we truly are, unveiling the parts of us that are hidden beneath the roles, responsibilities and the noise we hold or have held.
